Forest Is Our Life

A rain forest is forest vegetation domintaed by tall trees. This trees cast a deep shade on the ground to allow grass to grow. Nigeria has lost 95% of its forest cover. A forest home to 18 species of priimates. Predominantly Nigeria's people is rural and people depend on the forest for economic activities. Traditional livelihood of farming and logging has led to evetual destruction.
