Episode 01

Anna and Angela are sisters who dream of becoming part of the glamorous world of fashion like their idol Vera Cruz. Except that Anna discovers Vera to be their father’s mistress. Alas! The girls’ mother, Stella, dies in an accident while confronting Vera. The two sisters end up living in the streets with Angela succumbing to food poisoning. Anna seeks their father’s help but fails to get it. Left with no other choice, Anna sells herself to raise the money needed for her sister’s medicines. Sadly, she arrives to find the hospital burning and Angela nowhere to be found. It turns out Angela survives the fire after being abducted by a syndicate that uses kids to beg for alms. In the meantime, Anna gets adopted by a rich man who rechristens her Victoria Valera.
