The missing finale dress is found and Gelai finds herself wearing it at the runway. But she learns of her mother’s heart attack and looks to make a quick exit to rush to her side. Vera threatens to fire her if she dares abandon Vera alone at the catwalk. Undaunted, Gelai hitches a ride with Louie to the hospital. This paves the way for Gelai’s adoptive mother to truly accept Gelai as her child. Back at Vera Couture, Gelai’s dress generates so many orders that Manuel overturns Vera’s dismissal of Gelai. It is Victoria’s turn to preempt Vera by having a business dinner with Alexander Jacobs. Not to be outdone, Vera invites the American businessman to a URCC fight-cum-fashion show. To Victoria’s chagrin, Alexander agrees. But on one condition – his favorite fighter Markado has to be there.
