Episode 19

Victoria overhears Gelai’s tactless remarks regarding the company and almost fires her except for Chloe’s intervention. Chloe stands up to Victoria and resigns, but not without cautioning Victoria to retain the gem of a designer that is Gelai. Chloe tells her parents of her resignation and for the first time feels free of the pressure to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Meanwhile, Gelai’s troubles with Victoria pales in comparison to her troubled feelings for Louie. Not recognizing it as love, Gelai does not realize its full significance. But Caloy does. He overhears the confession and channels his anger and pain by joining illegal fight-to-death matches. Will he survive it?
