Atty. Tessa Ramirez is a smart and famous lawyer whose husband, Daniel, is languishing in jail. But Tessa was once in love with Jaime, a handsome businessman who ended up marrying a wealthy heiress, Patricia. Tessa also had a child, Melissa, whom Daniel lost to a kidnapping syndicate. Meanwhile, in the slums of Manila, Angel throws a coin in the river to make a wish – for her adoptive mother to love her. Alas! A boy snatches her earnings and she is thrown out on the streets. Angel later runs into Pip, the thief, and his brother, Miguel. They become each other’s family. But authorities raid their makeshift shelter and Angel gets left behind trying to chase her cap with directions going to Miguel’s so-called flower paradise. What if fate intervenes and Jaime’s car hits Angel?
