Ella wins her first case and she celebrates it by having dinner with Red. On the contrary, Miguel feels downcast by his first loss. And it falls to Tessa to console her son. Red introduces Ella to Daniel who grows concerned about their budding relationship, considering that Ella is Jaime’s daughter. Similarly, Patricia is concerned that Denise is also getting close to Tessa's other son, Miguel. She introduces Denise to the much more suitable Paul, son of Vanessa and Congressman Javier.
