Daniel finally goes free after Congressman Javier has seemingly forgiven his brother’s killer. Unknown to everyone, it is Jaime who exerted pressure on the politician after witnessing Tessa’s humiliation at his hands. Miguel is dismayed when he learns that the pink cap he has given Angel was in the hands of a garbage collector and his family all along. That means he has been waiting in vain all these years. Meanwhile, Ella makes it clear to Red she is only willing to offer her friendship at the moment. Denise finds the pink cap in Miguel’s possession and immediately recognizes it. She later confirms her hunch that Miguel’s “Angel” is none other than Ella. Would Denise be willing to tell Miguel and Ella the truth if it would mean losing Miguel to her adopted sister?
