Episode 17

Ella and Miguel get caught in their families’ worsening feud. Tessa and Daniel object to their son’s choice of a girlfriend. Meanwhile, in line with the doctor’s instruction to keep Denise away from all sources of stress, Jaime orders Ella to resign from Tessa’s law firm. Even against her will, Ella complies as proof of her loyalty to Jaime and her adoptive family. But the gesture is not enough. Her parents unrelentingly command her to stay away from Miguel, especially as Denise avows she would rather die than see her sister with the love of her life. In the meantime, Daniel and Patricia have to deal with a new complication. For what if Jess survived the attack and is now recovering at a hospital?
