Ella helps resolve the hostage crisis but not without suffering injuries. Unknown to her and her father, Don Fernando admits to their captor’s allegations to Patricia. The company did dump toxic waste illegally as a cost-cutting measure a few years ago. Back home, Jaime is bothered enough by Tessa’s disclaimers that he confronts Patricia regarding the matter. Speaking of Tessa, she agrees to represent the townspeople of Marilag in their fight against Aragon Mining. Meanwhile, Miguel gets assigned a new client named Ricardo de la Cruz. Now what will happen if this client is none other than the man who took Ella and her family hostage?
