Miguel naturally gets worried when Ella fails to show up for their civil wedding. Speaking of Ella, Denise tries to rescue her sister in exchange for Ella’s promise to cover up the company’s dirty secret. But Ella is able to escape and immediately discloses the truth to her father. She also leaves the mansion with her nanny for good. Feeling like a dupe, Jaime confronts Don Fernando. But it turns out that it was Ed who decided to bury the asbestos without consulting his father. For the meantime, Tessa chances upon Ella and learns the young woman has left home. She then asks Ella if this has anything to do with the Marilag case. Will Ella protect her adoptive family or divulge the truth to Tessa?
